Entering the sunny bank holiday with some great progress shots of a project of ours in Box, Gloucestershire. Beautiful Cotswold stone used to renovate a tired garage, into a studio space. New roofing to create a terrace area above with views to the village, and much improved access with new steps and the all important bin area!

Not all great projects are extensions, sometimes the small tweaks and renovations can vastly improve the function and value of an existing space for your home. This project takes a remote garage that had become just a store, into a useable new studio space, addressing leaks with detailed waterproofing and creating almost an annex space with roof terrace to a family home.

Coupled with kind words from client (below) we are so happy to have been part of this clients project, taking a ground floor flat that had awkward access to the garden from a dark corridor, to this bright living and dining space to enjoy all the light that’s coming in. 👌👌

Big day for Team SJA yesterday, after a comprehensive planning process, including a pre-application, we received Listed Building Consent and Planning permission for a full renovation and extensions of a Grade II property in Westminster.

Sensitive and considered design, working very closely with @citywestminster planning and conservation team. Rectifying some unapproved works from past owners over many years, the new owners are lovingly going to restore this prestigious property in a prime London location.
As part of the full renovation, it includes increasing footprint, creating a rear roof terrace and replacement windows. Watch this space.

Great start to the week with Planning permission and Listed Building Consent acheived for new windows to a Grade II Listed building in Royal Borough of Greenwich. Over 60 different window types, surveyed, drawn and proposed windows prepared for the permission.
Careful negotiations with the Local Authority, and detailed drawings led to permission and Listed Building Consent being received for the continued longevity of the building and improved thermal performance for the residents.

We provided full design services for our client on a non extension renovation project, to update existing rooms and create new spaces within their townhouse.

A sensitive and neighbourly considerate approach to design achieved a great space that now deals with a large rear level difference- finally connecting the house to a beautiful long garden.

Following an enforcement notice, Proceeds of Crime Act order & bankruptcy proceedings, we were appointed as the designers for the Fixed Charge Receivers to maximise realisation for the creditors.

A difficult and sensitive site in its planning history, and location, we worked with LB of Croydon planning department through an extensive pre-application process to receive planning permission this week!
